Learn how to notice more in your tea, describe what you’re tasting, and build confidence in your palate.

A small, guided experience for people who enjoy tea but struggle to describe what they’re tasting.

You might relate to this

You can tell when a tea is different - but struggle to explain how.

You might think:

  • “I can taste something, but I don’t have the words.”
  • “I know it’s fruity… but I can’t tell which fruit."
  • “It’s hard to learn on my own.”

What this is

This is a small, 4-week guided tea tasting journey.

We’ll meet once a week in a small group, and you’ll also have simple guided exercises between sessions to help you keep practicing.

You’ll learn how to:

  • notice more in your tea
  • compare different teas more clearly
  • describe what you’re tasting in your own words
  • approach tasting in a simple, repeatable way

There’s space each week to share what you’re noticing, ask questions, and learn from each other.

No need to have special teas - we’ll work with what you already have at home.

What we’ll explore

Each week builds on the last:

Week 1 - Noticing
Slow down and become more aware of what’s already in your cup

Week 2 - Comparing
Build vocabulary and taste teas side by side to understand differences more clearly

Week 3 - Understanding quality
Explore what makes a tea feel “good” and learn how to recognize quality for yourself

Week 4 - Bringing it together
Build confidence and trust your own palate

What you’ll gain

By the end of the 4 weeks, you’ll likely:

  • Notice more in your tea (aroma, texture, flavor)
  • Describe what you’re tasting with more clarity
  • Feel less unsure or second-guess
  • Trust your own palate more

How it works

  • Start date: August 30
  • Duration: 4 weeks
  • Format: Weekly live sessions on Zoom

Very nice course

I’ve had 4 great weeks with the tasting course of Mona. The course filled the gaps of what I was missing in tea tasting and highlighted some points I knew, but was not aware of.
Mona is really nice and knowledgeable and addressed all our questions with good answers.
I would definitely recommend this course to people who would like to enhance their tea tasting skills.

Great learning experience!

Describing tea had always been a puzzle for me. Through Mona's course and the guided tea tasting sessions, I found exactly what I had been looking for: a simple, practical system that makes evaluating teas easy and helps me confidently share my tasting experience with others. I truly enjoyed the course. Thank you so much! 🙏

Love the course!

The tea course was excellent! Mona addressed all our questions between lessons, and the number of attendees was limited, allowing for individual instruction and discussion. Before the course, I felt intimidated by tasting notes, but by the end, I gained confidence in identifying my own tasting notes and experiences
