We sourced the most adorable elephant tea pet to celebrate our Thailand tea collection. We love its sitting posture, tiny ears, and playful smile.

Inspiration: Known as Chang in Thai, the elephant is the national animal and symbol of the kingdom. We visited Chiangmai years ago, and spent a day feeding, walking and bathing a gentle giant named Mikeow and her baby elephant in the river. It was magical.

My first and most beloved tea pet

My little one has become my most loyal tea companion. This tea pet is not only beyond adorable, but also extremely high quality: other elephant tea pets out there (and there are ones that look similar...but fall short) have no where near as much detail and craftmanship as this. I absolutely love it and have even bought another as a gift for a friend.

It’s a really adorable baby elephant, well-made from clay, and also came in a really nice box in case you want to gift to someone :) I look forward to many tea sessions with Eli!
