I have loved learning from Mona and drinking teas that align with each chapter. I would definitely recommend this class to folks interested in deepening their knowledge in tea but not ready to take on a formal certification like me. She provided an abundance of information that both novice and more seasoned tea drinkers would appreciate, with a warm presence and super clear diction. I also loved the myriad of nicely designed informational handouts and worksheets included in the course that I have printed out and am sure to reuse again. Excellent course!

The videos are professional-looking and easy to follow, and many useful handouts are provided for each chapter. The course focuses on white, green, oolong, black, and pu’er, and even if no prior knowledge is required the contents are never obvious for an average tea-lover who already has some background.
I love Mona’s teaching style and she is extremely available and kind when you need technical support. The quizzes and assignments are a plus, because students can put their learning into practice and check their understanding with immediate feedback. I am 100% satisfied and I would truly like to learn even more!

When you get introduced to a lot of different teas by friends and community, it can get overwhelming, and confusing... I would say that this course is absolutely perfect for anyone wanting to expand their knowledge and understanding of the different tea types, and also make more informed decisions when picking teas to enjoy!

I love Oolong teas so I found that section particularly helpful - the breakdown of the regions, and the cultivars; as well as the side by side comparison of the teas.

I also loved the pictures and videos that Mona included of the tea-making process in some of the modules. It is so great to see the people, and processes behind our tea!
