As we transition into the year of the Snake, I'm excited to offer my favorite teas from Shanlinxi region (Taiwan), as well as a lucky snake pet to keep you company for the year.

This roasty tieguanyin and aromatic black tea are a perfect pair for wintertime enjoyment: The roasty but incredibly smooth Taiwanese tieguanyin can keep you warm, comforted and energized, while the uplifting fruity notes of Shanlinxi red can bring you hope for spring.

In the Chinese zodiac, it is said that people born in the year of the snake exude wisdom, charm, and a strong intuition. I hope this clay pet might share some of these traits while you feed it at the tea table, or burn incense from its tail (it doubles up as an incense holder!) :)
