We are excited to offer our tea tastings online! Enjoyed in the comfort of your own home or office space at a time that works for your group, this virtual tea tasting is perfect for your next team event. In this 60-minute experience, we will brew and taste a selection of our farm-sourced teas that are included with the tasting and mailed to you in advance, transport you to their origins, answer your tea questions, and guide you through brewing techniques using the teaware you have at home.

A Starter Tea Sampler (including 6 tea samples) for each participant

A 60 minute online tasting experience led by Mona, where 2 pre-selected teas will be brewed (with option to extend to 90 minutes with 3 brewed teas).

How it works

Purchase a tasting ($48 per person, shipping included).
The tea sampler will be mailed to your home.
Once the teas arrive, send us an email to reserve the date and time for your tea tasting, and select the 2 teas you'd like us to brew together.
You will receive email reminders ahead of time with the Zoom link and printable tasting materials!

What will I need for the tasting?

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced tea drinker, we are happy and excited to guide you through our teas! For the tasting you will need: Drinking water, a teapot or mug with tea strainer/infuser, and a kettle.

If you are in need of teaware, we also provide a range of loose leaf brewing tools here, which you may add to your order.

Can you ship the tea samplers to multiple cities?

Absolutely. Tea tasting is a wonderful way to re-connect with friends in different cities or countries, and we encourage it. Please fill in this form if this applies to you, and we will make sure your needs are met.

Which teas will we get to taste?

You will get to choose 2 teas from our Starter Tea Sampler, which includes six teas & tisanes from our personally sourced collection, spanning tea regions in China, Taiwan & Sri Lanka.

Who will host the tasting?

The founder of Teawala, Mona, who has personally visited each farm and sourced her favorites, will be hosting the session and guiding you through the teas and their stories with passion and enthusiasm :)

When is the earliest I can schedule a tea tasting?

It depends on where you are located and how fast the tasting materials can arrive to you. Kindly refer to the estimated ship times to each country here. In general we would recommend allowing for 1 month between your booking confirmation and the tasting, but for those who are rushing for a particular date, we have an expedited shipping option available. Customer Tea Moments

Our global tea tasting session was excellent!

Mona was able to coordinate a virtual tea tasting across three countries, two of which were 12 hours apart! Everything was beautifully done, from the tea packaging to the tasting menu and checklist. The tasting session was excellent as well. Mona was able to answer all of our many questions, and she was great at guiding us through the process. Every tea was delicious, and I've been enjoying them ever since. I highly recommend both the teas and the tasting experience to others!

Morning Tea Time

Our one-on-one session was so amazing! I learned a ton, and it was so nice to talk about all of the aroma and flavor nuances of the teas, while learning about the people and places behind the leaves. We tried the White Peony, Milk Oolong, and Yunnan Black for our session and I loved them all. Each tea seemed to have a little something extra that really made it stand apart from other similar teas I've tried in the past. Mona was really fantastic about answering my questions and guiding the conversation as we drank our way through the teas. It was truly a great experience all around! I would love to do this again with my friends sometime. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in tea!

Tea journey

I had a virtual tea tasting organised for me as a Christmas present and I couldn't have been happier with my gift. Mona's walk through was amazing, it genuinely felt like we were taking a journey through each plantation as we sampled the Tea. Having been to a few tea tastings before, I felt like I’d finally found Tea Wikipedia where all my questions would be answered by someone who had visited every site. The tea itself was amazing itself and I’ve finally found somewhere to buy good Oolong and high quality White Tea. If you love Tea or would just like a new experience, give it a go as you will not regret it. We selected White Peony, High Mountain and Ceylon Highlands for our experience.

Fun, educational tasting for any occasion!

I organized a virtual tea tasting for my mother-in-law's birthday. We sampled the White Peony, Milk Oolong and Spiced Island Chai - all unique and delicious teas hand-selected by Mona! Mona was extremely knowledgable about each tea, farm, and region. We particularly enjoyed hearing the stories of each farm and Mona's personal experience visiting / working with each producer. We valued Mona's tea expertise throughout the tasting - she taught us how different teas are grown and processed, provided helpful brewing/tasting tips, and shared lot of interesting facts! Our whole family really enjoyed the tasting, and would highly recommend it as a fun and educational group activity for any occasion.

Tea tasting across three cities

Mona helped us organize a virtual birthday tea tasting and was absolutely brilliant! From start to finish, Mona was professional, responsive, and organized. She made sure the tea samples arrived on time and helped us choose which teas to taste (given the time zones!).
